Design

After looking over examples of what you like from our website, your own personal sketches, idea book or any

other source of inspiration, we will sketch several ideas or combinations of details for your approval. This can take from 1 to 5

days on average, and there is no cost or obligation for this part of our service. We will re-imagine and re-sketch several ideas at no extra cost

until you say “WOW… That’s exactly what I want!”

Only when you are beyond excited will we stop! No kidding… we get very into the design process and

we look forward the helping you create something that is unique, inspiring and individual as you!

Sketching

Although we may already have a rough sketch of what you are looking for, a more polished and detailed production drawing is often required at this time. We will work with our professional artists to create a realistic diagram of what your finished product will look like. The design can always be modified if you don't see exactly what you want. The drawings can be faxed, emailed or viewed and shared with anyone you like on your very own personal Online Design Page & Blog ^SM. Or, if you prefer, come to Seattle and view them in person! The decision is yours.

Payment

At this point we can generally give an accurate estimate of cost, and with your approval and a deposit we will move forward. We ask for 50% down and full payment on major stones at this point. We offer financing through Wells Fargo Financial with 90 days no interest to qualified clients. We accept credit cards for any amount if presented in person. For internet purchases, we limit the amount that we will put on a credit card over the phone to $2000.

We may require an ID photocopy with your correct billing address and a signed credit card form which we can either fax or mail to you. We also accept checks, wire transfers or money orders.

Washington state residents must pay sales tax, but out of state clients who purchase over the internet are currently sales tax free. Cleared, full payment is required before delivery is made.

Orders prepaid by check two weeks before shipping or pickup or paid by wire transfer are subject to a 1.5% discount, as this alleviates our risk and fees of other payment methods.

CAD Rendering

The production process often begins with modeling your piece with our state of the art 3-D computer modeling software, and several photo-realistic renderings are created for you to view. Often we work with you to “tweak” the design to perfection at this point, again at no extra charge. Our CAD designers are all jewelry design artists, not just technicians, so artistry is never sacrificed for perfection and detail…you get both!

For pieces where CAD modeling is not the right approach, we may sketch, hand carve wax models or hand fabricate our designs. We generally send photos of each step via our Online Design Page & Blog ^SM, and often ship you a wax model for approval.
