Wax Carving & Model Making
If the piece is to be cast, and most are, we then create a wax or Resin master model.
We do this by using a combination of our Gemvision Revo 4 Axis mills, Perfactory
3-D rapid Prototyping machines and hand carving to create the perfect blend of artistry
and detailed perfection.

Casting
Once the design has been approved, the model is now set for casting. Our in-house
casting facility is state of the art, with world class equipment and a custom casters'
attention to detail. Our Galloni Fusus HD platinum and gold casting equipment, originally
created to the specifications of Tiffany & Co. allows us to cast even tricky
alloys like Palladium 950 in house for the best quality control & cost efficiency.

Hand forging & fabrication
Many of our designs have hand Forged elements. Forging hardens the metal and makes
even fine elements durable enough to last a lifetime. We show you examples of similar
elements for you to choose from or forge and fabricate partial sections of the design
for your approval before finishing all the details.

Hand made fine wire filigree
The art of filigree consists of curling, twisting and bending fine threads of wire
by hand. This incredibly intricate art form takes many years to master. We are fortunate
to have Several Master Filigree Artists, more than any other shop we know of!

Gemstone Setting
We always hand set each gemstone, detailing all areas to perfection. We never cast
stones in place, an inferior technique used to mass produce much low quality, "Cookie
Cutter" jewelry made in the world today. Compare the pictures in our Gallery to
see the attention to fine detail & Craftsmanship.

Hand Engraving
Hand engraving is the art of hand cutting designs directly into the metal with highly
polished specialty gravers. This is the hallmark of a true jewelry artist, and,
like mush of our work, is performed under a bench microscope for intricate detail.
We do all of our hand engraving in-house (we currently have 8 hand engraving artists
on staff; By the way, most shops send hand engraving out to be done elsewhere.)

Texture, Finishes and Detailing
The final stage of the production process includes adding textures & finishes. Before
quality marking, we double and triple check all details of the design to ensure
all instructions have been meticulously followed, the design is well executed and
all craftsmanship is top notch.

that a jewelry purchase can be a big decision, and we want you to feel excited about
your purchase with us. The jewelry must be in good condition & not altered,
& include all paperwork like certificates, boxes etc.
If you are past the initial 30 day Return/Exchange timeframe, we allow Exchanges
or return for a credit to be used later on all un-altered, in stock items items in good condition
for 90 days from date of invoice.
Please ask in advance about exchanges on special order items as many are not returnable or exchangable.
Stone return policy
All Diamonds and Colored Gemstones $500 or more must be returned or exchanged
within 14 days of purchase.
Stones under $500.00 purchased from our owned stock may be returned for refund
up to 30 days after invoice date. (as long as there is no wear on the stone i.e.:
abrasions or chips that weren’t there when the stone was purchase).
For other stones under 500.00 in purchase price) that are on
MEMO (loaned to
us from a vendor), there is a 14 day return policy from the date of
purchase (as long as there is no wear on the stone). The reason MEMO stones have
a shorter return period is because we do not own them and if the customer returns
the stone after 14 days then we are forced to own stock that we would not have otherwise
purchased.

the right to modify existing estimates to accommodate for changes in labor and material

from other items listed. small diamond melee (under .10 ct.) is generally included
in the prices shown on the website and in estimates.

without prior notification and approval from the customer. In order for a piece
to be started, and for the estimate to be agreed to by both parties, we ask for
a 50% deposit & full payment on major gemstones. Custom designs and repairs must
be completed within 6 months; otherwise they may be subject to additional charges, fees, interest or price changes.

Stone Loss Warranty
Should a gemstone we set fall out of your ring we will replace it up to a stone
value of $500.00 USD, at No Charge, or pay the insurance deductible up to $500.00.
It is important that the piece is insured under a homeowners, renters or individual
jewelry insurance policy, as the maximum liability we can accept is $500.00. Gemstones
of higher value should be insured by you and you will need to contact your insurance
company in the case of a loss. If we feel the mounting is not secure we will tell
you before any work is done and we will not provide a stone loss warranty.
We do not guarantee against gemstones breaking or chipping. All Gemstones can crack,
break or chip, even diamonds! You should add all fine jewelry to a homeowners or
renters policy, which usually protect against loss, damage or theft.
In order to qualify for the stone loss warranty, you agree to have your stone checked
by us, or a reputable jeweler, for tightness and wear, at least once every 6 months.
You must also have any needed maintenance done at that time.
We don't guarantee stones we didn't set, in jewelry we didn't make.
This seems obvious, but to be clear, for repairs & restorations, we only guarantee
the work we did. ( So, for example, if we size a ring we will do our best to check
the quality of the settings, but we don't take liability for work done by other
shops.)
We guarantee our work for one year, however normal wear and tear happens, and you
will need to maintain your piece over the years, including (eventually) re-tipping
prongs and replacing worn metal. Just like a pair of tires on a car, metals
wear down over time. Platinum is the most resistant to wear of all the precious
metals and will need less maintenance than Gold, Silver or Palladium alloys.
We will tighten any stone set by us at no charge for the life of the ring. We guarantee
our workmanship and will repair any defect caused by us at no charge indefinitely.
We very strongly recommend that you have your ring inspected every 6 months and
have any needed maintenance done as needed.
We don't pay for items to be shipped for inspections or work unless there is
an original workmanship problem, however We promise to always make a good faith
effort to fairly and honestly deal with all of our customers in every way. Our stone
loss warranty can be an important part of your satisfaction and trust in our shop,
so feel free to ask any questions about our policy.
Sincerely,
Jim Tuttle
