My love for creating jewelry started in a jewelry design class in high school. I continued to pursue my passion for jewelry at KU, where I also discovered a passion for art history. I continued to pursue that passion by studying abroad in Italy, where I attended SACI. I greatly enjoyed being ensured in a world of art and design while traveling around Europe. I love studying art history to learn about the lives and stories behind each piece, as well as draw on them for inspiration to create my own pieces. Most of my work is enameled because I love playing with the depth of color and texture that enameling adds to metal.
