Dennis was brought into the jewelry industry by way of family. Following a move to southern Oregon in 2006, Dennis was taught the intricacies of advanced jewelry repair, lost wax carving, fabrication, finishing, and custom design from his father-in-law and brother-in-law. Their family-owned jewelry store has been operating since 1979 and is where Dennis developed his skills and knowledge. He worked his way up to a combination role of custom designer, lead bench jeweler, and floor staff manager. When Dennis and his wife decided to relocate to Seattle, he was ecstatic to see that Green Lake was hiring. Needless to say, it was a perfect fit and we are lucky to have Dennis’s immense talent and well-rounded expertise at our shop!
Dennis’s creative endeavors extend far beyond just jewelry. As an artist since childhood, he enjoys working in graphite and paints, creating digital art, throwing pottery, and sketching. He even enjoys rebuilding computers! A hobby he’s maintained since the 90’s. Outside these passions, Dennis loves to travel, hike, and to hang out with his wife and their oversized orange cat. A man of many talents, he was even once a certified shiatsu practitioner!
