Designer | Seattle Studio
My career has always been rooted in creativity, spanning estate sales, graphic design, and marketing before I found my way into the jewelry industry at Malak Jewelers, a family-owned retailer in Charlotte, North Carolina. Inspired early on by my cousin’s work as a geologist, I’ve long been fascinated by gemology and the natural beauty found in stones. At Green Lake, what excites me most is the creative flow and variety in my work as a designer, every day brings something new.
Outside of work, I enjoy hiking the Cascades, exploring film photography, and painting with watercolors. I grew up in the mountains of North Carolina, and after moving to Seattle, I’ve found endless inspiration in the Pacific Northwest. Much of my design perspective is shaped by the resilience of nature, like dandelions pushing through sidewalks or wildlife adapting to urban spaces. To me, that ability to endure and flourish is the most beautiful form of artistry, a quality I see echoed in my favorite gemstone, the Montana sapphire.
