Jewelry is the intersection of many of my passions: science and art, engineering and storytelling, the treasures of the earth, and the people who give them meaning.
Before jewelry, I worked in editorial photography, graphic design, art museums, engineering, and more; each taught me to look at a problem differently, communicate with all kinds of people, and find beauty in both the unexpected and the carefully constructed.
I love complicated things: intricate designs that require brainstorming, engineering, and a fine hand; antique details brought back to life; and ideas that don’t quite exist yet. I believe in taking the slow way when it leads somewhere better. Like painting, jewelry rewards patience, careful observation, and a willingness to let the process unfold.
My father was a historian, and I’ve always loved the stories objects can preserve. Jewelry is both an artistic expression and a piece of the earth’s history. It’s a material treasure that can outlast its maker, its wearer, and even the paper records of their lives.
That’s why I see custom design as more than creating an object; I’m helping you shape the story that object will carry with it.
My role is to make that process welcoming and collaborative—to help you find the right path forward and create a piece you don’t just love today, but will love through all the chapters of the life you’re building together.
