My path to jewelry design has been shaped by a lifelong love of art, making, and curiosity across many creative disciplines. I earned my BFA in Illustration with a minor in Visual Development from Ringling College of Art and Design, then went on to explore a wide range of artistic careers. From working as an environment artist at Microsoft’s Turn 10 Studios on Forza Motorsport to creating as a 3D designer and sculptor for Super7 and Hasbro. I’ve also freelanced as a jewelry designer, assisted with exhibitions at the Smithsonian American Art Museum’s Renwick Gallery, apprenticed as a silversmith at Silver Works Studio, and trained traditionally under a master landscape and portrait artist. Each experience has shaped how I think about form, storytelling, and craftsmanship.
I was drawn to jewelry design in a very personal way. By tagging along with a friend for moral support while she shopped for an engagement ring. Watching the process unfold was unexpectedly inspiring, and I found myself wanting to be part of creating objects that carry such meaning. That moment led me to ask how I could get involved and ultimately set me on the path to jewelry.
Outside the studio, I’m always creating in some form. I love to cook and eat, paint landscapes, travel, and dive into new art projects. There’s rarely a moment when I’m not working on something. My family is big on pizza-making nights with friends and neighbors, I can quote most of Young Frankenstein, and I’m drawn to whimsical designs and ideas that push me to think outside the box.
Now at Green Lake Jewelry Works, I’m excited to create pieces that hold memory, emotion, and a little piece of love. These are objects that can be worn, cherished, and passed down, each one telling a story as unique as the person it’s made for.
