Artist at work...

Lexi M
CAD Modeler

Art has always been at the center of my world, with a passion for storytelling through visual design. I studied at the Gemological Institute of America in California, where I earned my Applied Jewelry Professional (AJP), Jewelry Design and Technology (JDT), and Graduate Jeweler (GJ) diplomas. During my time there, my work was recognized with both a Student Choice Award and a showcase cover feature for my original designs.

Today, I bring that artistic foundation into fine jewelry through 3D CAD modeling. With a background in digital illustration, fabrication, and design, I approach each piece with a strong focus on detail, movement, and meaning. I’m especially drawn to designs that feel organic and expressive, often inspired by nature, as well as Art Nouveau and Baroque styles.

What I love most is translating ideas into something tangible, taking a concept from a client’s imagination and turning it into a piece that can be worn and passed down for generations.

Outside of the studio, I continue to explore my creativity through digital and gouache painting, sketching, and experimenting with new artistic outlets like gem cutting and carving. I also enjoy skiing, surfing, longboarding, and diving into immersive video game worlds.

Originally from central California, I first discovered Green Lake through my brother, who had his wedding rings created here. That early exposure to CAD design sparked my interest, and now I get to be part of the same creative process that first inspired me.

Fun fact: Before jewelry, I spent over a decade in tabletop gaming, designing and publishing a fantasy trading card game, and later worked as a freelance artist creating enamel pins, book covers, apparel, and more.
