Kristin brings to Green Lake an experience in managing dynamic teams and facilitating a superior service environment from which she learned in her years as a group manager with Starbucks. At the shop Kristin coordinates in-store operations, and though designing is not Kristin’s main focus, she does enjoy working one-on-one with the clients to create a piece that is representative of their individual personality. Her style preference leans toward larger, modern designs with an organic twist.
Kristin graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology and a minor in law, societies and justice. Quickly gaining experience in managing dynamic teams and facilitating a superior service environment with Starbucks, Kristen sought other Seattle-based retailers to broaden her acumen. She came to Green Lake in August of 2009 with a focus on in-store operations, customer relations, and website development.
Kristin’s parents wanted to provide her and her siblings with a wealth of experiences so Kristin grew up in a variety of places. She’s lived in Chapala, Mexico; Austin, Texas; and Ketchikan, Alaska, just to name a few! As a result, Kristin loves to travel and her favorite place in the world, thus far, has been Amalfi, Italy on the coast of the Mediterranean Sea.
She and her husband Brad are immensely enjoying the arrival of their first child, a baby girl named Taylor, and hope to get her started traveling again soon.
