A graduate of art from Oregon’s Marylhust College and a veteran of the fine jewelry industry, Mitch’s design aesthetics range from fluid organic Art Nouveau styles to sleek minimalist designs. He finds that the exciting part about being an artist at Green Lake is having the opportunity to work with great people and the ability to design and create personalized jewelry for our clients.
Diamond and Gemstone Consultant
Mitch grew up in Oregon and acquired a passion for creativity, art, and design at a very young age. He attended Portland State University where he studied art and architecture, finishing up his bachelor's degree in art at Marylhurst College in West Linn, Oregon.
While attending Marylhurst, he worked for a luxury jewelry retailer that specialized in custom design and setting top-quality gems. Mitch quickly found the jewelry industry to be an exciting and rewarding career—and has been working in it now for over a decade.
Mitch moved to Seattle in 2000 and loves living in such a creative and culturally diverse city. In his spare time he’s worked on several freelance interior design projects ranging from kitchen and bath design to personal residences. He also enjoys creating and making art in mixed media and painting. Besides art and design, Mitch loves to travel and you'll most likely find him on a remote beach somewhere in the Hawaiian Islands while away.
