Castings come out with a smooth but matte surface finish, and require significant hand work to bring out the perfect finish. Joey uses a combination of tools to further clean the rough casting and to ensure that the intricate details are perfectly smooth. Some of the tools include: a felt polishing wheel, file, bristle brush, and muslin buff.

Once the bail is securely in place, the entire piece is cleaned and polished to reveal its ultimate brilliance.
