Dat begins the setting process with the accent diamonds, starting with small pilot holes that were cast into the ring as placement guides.

Dat then moves on to setting the center stone. He begins by carefully carving a seat inside each prong—a small, precise notch that allows the stone to sit level and be held securely in place. Using pliers, he gently but firmly tightens the prongs over the crown of the stone, locking it into position. Once the setting is complete, the entire ring is meticulously cleaned and polished, revealing its full brilliance and bringing the final design to life.

He carefully enlarges each hole, shaping them precisely to fit the individual stones. Once the settings are prepared, the accent diamonds are placed one by one and secured with delicate, hand-formed beads of metal - ensuring each stone sits snugly and sparkles beautifully within the design.
