
Jack uses a combination of tools to further clean up the rough casting and ensure that the intricate details are perfectly smooth. Some of the tools include a felt polishing wheel, file, bristle brush, and muslin buff.

For the most hard-to-reach areas, he also uses a string with polishing compound, employing a traditional thrumming technique to gently polish where standard tools cannot reach.

Castings come out with a smooth but matte surface finish and require significant hand work to bring out the perfect finish.
